Plano's starting backcourt of John Roberson and Rex Burkhead combined to score 19 points in the fourth quarter to help the Plano boys turn a 37-33 deficit into a 56-48 win over Plano East.

Plano (18-5, 4-2 District 9-5A), the No. 7 team in SportsDay's 5A area rankings, and No. 9 Plano East (17-6, 4-2) are one game behind district-leading Richardson Berkner.

Burkhead scored 11 of his 14 points in the fourth quarter, including seven points in the first 2:17 of the period. Roberson was 8-for-8 from the free throw line in the fourth quarter and finished with 23 points.
