Just how good is Plano guard John Roberson? Ask Duncanville and coach Phil McNeely.
"I don't think there's a better point guard in the state," McNeely said. "I would say he's one of the top in the country."
Duncanville held off Plano, 70-64, Tuesday, but Roberson carried Plano in a second-half rally. Plano trimmed Duncanville's lead from 20 to three with less than 30 seconds left, and Roberson was nearly flawless in the fourth quarter.
Roberson, a Texas Tech signee, finished with 30 points. He had 18 points in the fourth quarter. Roberson is averaging 32.3 points in three games.
