DALLAS – Humble Kingwood small forward Mike Singletary has orally committed to Texas Tech. The 6-5 Singletary led Kingwood to the 5A state final last season and is rated the No. 15 recruit in the state by Rivals.com.

Texas Tech has also picked up commitments from Plano guard John Roberson and Duncanville forward D'walyn Roberts in the last week, giving the Red Raiders three of the top 15 players in the state, according to Rivals.com.

Oral commitments are non-binding. The first day basketball recruits can sign letters of intent is Nov. 8.
