Mann has stepped into scoring role for Plano

PLANO – Coach Tom Inman said senior forward Lawrence Mann has been a key contributor during Plano's five-game winning streak. Mann had 16 points in Tuesday's 53-49 victory over Plano East, his third straight game scoring in double figures.
Plano counts on guard John Roberson and post Eric Zastoupil to do most of the scoring. But they've needed the extra scoring punch from Mann with Texas A&M recruit Joseph Fulce out of the lineup. Fulce (knee) is expected to return Friday against The Colony.
"We need that third scorer," Inman said. "Now that he's hitting, that puts us in good shape. And when Joe comes back, that gives us a fourth option."
